Anavami Center For Mastering The Art Of Life

Anavami Center is committed to creating health and wholeness in the individual and community by building self-empowering skills in creativity, self-expression, communication, visioning and meaning-making through the expressive arts, metaphor and dream work and Transpersonal Hypnotherapy. Anavami Center promotes the understanding that inner work on a personal and collective level creates a world culture that honors diversity and values the sacred planet that we live on by living through heart.

WEEKLY CLASSES, WEEKEND WORKSHOPS, RETREATS, YEAR-LONG SEMINARS and TOURS invite an array of educational, healing and artistic opportunities for transformational inner work. We offer yearly retreats to Abiquiu, New Mexico, creative process tours to Europe and Japan, year-long collaborative Qabalah courses and weekend workshops with musicians, performing artist, therapists and healers.

DREAM GROUPS

Dream Groups utilize various approaches to empower participants to develop ease in this inner process of exploration. This kind of Dreamwork underscores trust in the dream process as integrative and healing with the understanding that the dreamer knows best the meaning of symbols of the psyche. The foundation is Projective Dreamwork, but includes other approaches and modalities such as the creative arts, trance work and ritual.

TRANSFORMATIONAL PAINTING CIRCLES

In Painting Circles the primary focus is the practice of developing and maintaining presence in the moment. It is influenced by Japanese cultural arts in which disciple is used to refine relationship to spirit. This kind of painting nurtures creativity through spontaneity and authenticity, which deepens our understanding of personal images and opens to inner guidance. No experience in art is necessary to do these large format acrylic paintings.

TRANSPERSONAL HYPNOTHERAPY Transpersonal Hypnotherapy in painting groups, retreats, tours and in private consultation supports and explores Personal Mythology and the constantly developing counters myths in order to respond more creatively to the challenges of life. NLP techniques, Voice Dialogue, Past Life Regression, Trance work, and Studio Arts are used to bring more resources and choices to daily life.
